Program Director

Job Description Summary:

The Program Director serves as the direct supervisor to all Eleos staff members. The Program Director is responsible for equipping, supporting, and mentoring staff members for the success of their ministry programs according to the program results identified by the Board of Directors, and communicated by the Executive Director and Program Operations Director. The Program Director will oversee the development and management of ministry programs under the supervision of the Lead Collective Program Operations Director in order to develop program strategies to achieve high value ministry outcomes.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Gifted and called to student ministry

  • Desires to work program hours 2 - 3 days per week at minimum

  • Has the character and gifts to manage a team

  • Organized with the ability to manage their time, schedule, and ministry programs

  • Strong communication skills

  • Cultural competency and cross-cultural communication skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Program organization and development

  • Parent communication and relationship development

  • Mentor development and recruitment

  • In-person program operation

  • Managing ministry budget

  • Managing staff team

  • Leading staff meetings

  • Implementation of systems and processes developed by the Program Operations Director

  • Ensure high value ministry outcomes are being evaluated on a basis outlined by our Program Operations Director

  • Write and send monthly newsletter

  • Transportation from school, and drop-off after the program

  • Write and delegate thank you notes for supporters, mentors, and meal providers. 

 

Hours:

Full-time (40 hours/week)

Example schedule: 

  • 2 days/week 9a - 5pm

  • 3 days/week 12p - 8pm


Pay range: $50,000 - $55,000 based on experience

Program Coordinator

Job Description Summary:

The Éleos Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for ministry tasks related to After-school, Bible Study, and enrichment programs. The Program Coordinator will serve under the direction and supervision of the Program Director to ensure that students experience the programs of Éleos safely and consistently. The Program Coordinator will also partner with the Program Director to give direction to mentors, ensuring they are able to serve with clarity of their mission and responsibilities at Éleos. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience

  • Gifted and called to youth development with an eye toward outreach, spiritual formation, and program activities

  • Has the character and gifts to facilitate programs responsibly and to lead Bible studies

  • Must feel called to work with students in the afternoons and evenings at least 3-4 days per week

  • Cultural competency and cross-cultural communication skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Bible Study

  • In-person program operations

  • Program organization and prep

  • Transportation from school, and drop-off after the program

  • Leading and managing mentors during program times

  • Relationships development with students during school hours, through school partnerships

 

Hours:

Full-time (32 hours / week)

Example schedule: 

2 days/week 9a - 5pm

2 days/week 12p - 8pm

Pay range: $20 - $22 hourly based on experience
